Brave Ground Equine Therapy was created around a simple belief: access to meaningful mental health care should not be limited by someone's financial circumstances, and the horses who make this work possible deserve exceptional care in return.

As a nonprofit organization, Brave Ground relies on the generosity of individuals, families, businesses, and community partners who believe in what we are building. Every donation, whether $10 or $10,000, becomes part of that work.

When you support Brave Ground, you are helping someone access mental health care in an environment where they may finally feel comfortable enough to open up. You are helping us care for the horses who become trusted partners in the healing process. You are helping us create programs for people navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, grief, depression, and other challenges who may benefit from experiencing therapy differently.

But you are also helping us build something that belongs to this community. A place where people can find connection, safety, and support, and where financial circumstances do not have to determine whether someone can receive the care they need.

Become a Brave Ground Community Partner

Every person, family, business, and organization that chooses to support Brave Ground becomes part of our community.

Our Community Partner levels are our way of saying thank you to those who invest in our mission. Recognition is always optional.

Donors may choose to be recognized by name, family name, business or organization, make their gift in honor or memory of someone special, or remain completely anonymous.

Recognition on our Brave Ground Community Partner T-shirt, if desired, along with your own Brave Ground T-shirt
A private Brave Ground experience for up to two people. Spend dedicated time with our team and herd, enjoy hands-on interaction with the horses, including grooming, leading and horsemanship activities, and get an inside look at how our horses become partners in the therapeutic process. We'll also capture photos of your experience for you to take home and share.
A Brave Ground thank-you gift featuring a few of our favorite Brave Ground and locally sourced items
A special annual impact update sharing what your support helped make possible throughout the year

$2,500+ | Mission Partner

You will receive everything included at the previous levels, plus:

Recognition on the Brave Ground website for one year, if desired, including a direct website link for businesses and organizations
A personalized private Brave Ground experience for up to two people with the horse of your choice. Your time at the farm is centered around getting to know that horse through grooming, groundwork, horsemanship and other hands-on activities tailored to you and the horse.
Photos throughout your experience, plus an elevated Brave Ground gift basket featuring Brave Ground merchandise and thoughtfully selected products from local businesses
Recognition as a Mission Partner in appropriate Brave Ground community and fundraising materials throughout the year

$5,000+ | Herd Guardian

Herd Guardians receive everything included at the previous levels and the opportunity to create a connection with one of the horses who makes our work possible.

A private Brave Ground experience for up to four people centered around your chosen horse
A professionally photographed private session with your horse, coordinated by Brave Ground, with digital photographs from your photoshoot
Periodic personal photos and updates about your horse throughout your year as a Herd Guardian
Recognition on your horse's Brave Ground website profile and as a Herd Guardian throughout the year, if desired
An upgraded Brave Ground gift basket featuring Brave Ground merchandise and specially selected local items

Where Your Donation Goes

Your support helps Brave Ground provide and sustain equine-assisted psychotherapy while ensuring that our horses receive the level of care they deserve.

Donations may help support:

Client Scholarships
Helping reduce financial barriers for individuals and families who may otherwise be unable to access equine-assisted psychotherapy.

Care for Our Horses
Feed, hay, farrier care, dental care, veterinary care, medications, supplements, preventative care, and other needs of the horses who make our work possible.

Emergency Veterinary Care
Helping Brave Ground respond when one of our horses experiences an unexpected illness, injury, or medical emergency.

Equine Insurance
Supporting insurance coverage for eligible horses, including available medical and colic coverage.

Safe Equipment & Facilities
Tack, halters, grooming supplies, fencing, facility improvements, safety equipment, and other items necessary to provide a safe environment for our clients, clinicians, volunteers, and horses.

Therapeutic Programming
Supporting the development of equine-assisted psychotherapy programs, therapeutic groups, community programming, and other mission-driven services.
